Finishing Options: Stain

Stain can be added to Varnish or Lacquer to change the colour of the finishing. Stain is usually a darker colour than the original colour/tone of the underlying wood but it is possible to get some white/whitewash affects.

In general, we can offer any colour stain that is darker than the original colour of the wood as we mix all our colours on site. This means that we can also colour match an existing piece of furniture that you have or a specific colour sample that you have.

Because it take more than twice as long to do a stain plus varnish/lacquer and more than double the materials, there is an additional charge for this finishing.
