What Is Reclaimed Teak?

Put simply, reclaimed teak is teak from old structures that have been carefully deconstructed and cleaned ready for sale to workshops like ours.

Typically these structures were built decades ago from trees that were felled way before our time.

The main benefit  of Reclaim Teak come from the fact that it has had decades to dry. A lower moisture content means Reclaimed Teak is much less likely to twist, crack or warp when compared to plantation teak that has typically only been dried in a kiln for 7-14 days within a few days of being cut down.
